The homes shown above are what we can lease at The Fifteen right now. Availability moves quickly. A home can be listed on a Monday and spoken for by Thursday, so it is worth checking back, and it is worth calling if the layout you want is not showing today. Residents give notice on their own schedule, which means a home is often known to the leasing team a few weeks before it appears on any public list. Tell us what you are looking for and roughly when you need it, and we can tell you what is coming.
The Fifteen is a building of studios, open one bedrooms, and two bedrooms, and some homes include a loft. Square footage only tells you part of the story in a building like this one. Room shape, window placement, and how the kitchen meets the living area make more difference day to day than a number does. If you are choosing between two layouts, open both floor plan pages side by side and look at where the walls actually fall.
The Fifteen participates in Seattle’s Multifamily Tax Exemption program, known as MFTE, and in the city’s Incentive Zoning program. That means a share of the homes here is reserved for households at or under income limits set by the City of Seattle. These homes are not always open at the same time as the rest of the building, and they require income and household documentation before a lease can be signed. If you think you may qualify, raise it in your first conversation with us. The review takes longer than a standard application, and starting early is the difference between catching a home and missing it.
Photos and floor plans get you to a shortlist. A walkthrough settles it. Call the leasing team at 206-489-2747, reach the building at (206) 661-0431, or email info@thefifteencapitolhill.com. The office at 605 15th Avenue East is open Monday through Sunday, 9am to 6pm.
If you can, come at the time of day you would normally be home, then walk the block afterward. Fifteenth Avenue East is the part of North Capitol Hill people actually live on, with Victrola Coffee Roasters and Caffe Ladro on the street and Liberty at 517. Volunteer Park is a short walk north. That walk tells you as much about living here as any tour does.
