The Seattle Multifamily Tax Exemption (MFTE) Program and Seattle Incentive Zoning (IZ) Program provide qualifying residents the opportunity to live in modern apartment homes at more affordable rental rates in select Seattle communities. A limited number of homes are reserved for households that meet specific income guidelines, offering access to desirable neighborhoods and the same high-quality features and amenities enjoyed by all residents. Availability is limited, and applicants must meet program income and qualification requirements to be eligible.
